Do I have to pay before I can use anything?
3 min readUpdated 25 Aug 2026For renters, owners, managers, estate staff and gate teams
Short answer
If you live in a property, no. You get in free, you can see your space and your bills, and you only pay the ₦3,000 a month Resident plan when you want to use the tools that do work for you.
Who are you?

The longer version
Nobody meets a payment screen at the front door. You sign up, you get in, and you see your own space. The charge only appears at the moment you reach for something that does work on your behalf.
Free, whether or not you ever pay
- Getting in, and staying in.
- Seeing your space and the property you belong to.
- Seeing every bill raised against your flat, what it is for, and whether it is still outstanding.
- Paying a bill. You can always settle what you owe, plan or no plan.
- Your notifications and announcements from the estate.
On the Resident plan, at ₦3,000 a month
- Sending your visitor a code, up to 100 a month.
- Logging a repair and following it to fixed.
- Booking a facility like the hall or the gym.
- Opening your full lease and your document vault.
- Seeing where your money actually went, month by month.
Pay a bill without a plan and a small handling fee is added on top. You see the exact amount on the screen before you confirm, every single time. On the Resident plan there is no such fee, so if you pay rent and a service charge every month, the plan pays for itself before it costs you anything.
I run the property
Running a property is different: the ₦10,000 a month plan is what lets you add a property at all, so you pick it before your first one rather than after. It covers 3 properties, 2 staff seats and 500 visitor codes a month.
- Is there a free trial?
- No. There is no trial and no card held on file waiting for one to end. Living in a property is free to begin with, so a trial would only be a countdown to something you already have.
- What happens if I stop paying?
- You keep your account, your space, and the ability to see and settle your bills. The tools that do work for you stop until you start paying again. Nothing is deleted.
- Can I pay for a year at once?
- Yes, and it costs less than twelve monthly payments. The saving is shown on the plan screen before you choose.
